Hear first-hand from a retired village manager How he was able to serve a succession of village councils with different political majorities over a 28 year tenure.
How a professional administrator adds efficiency, stability and continuity to the delivery of town services How a professional administrator implements cost saving strategies
A question and answer period will follow the panel's presentation.
Guest Panel : Polly Kuhn, former councilwoman and supervisor, Town of New Castle; Paul Ryan, former councilman and supervisor, Town of Mamaroneck; Rick Herbek, village manager (retired), Croton-on-Hudson.
The meeting is being sponsored by the Committee for a Yorktown Town Administrator as part of a comprehensive community-wide program to explain how a town administrator would function in Yorktown.
