About Us

The Committee for a Yorktown Town Administrator is a non-partisan grassroots organization created for the purpose of educating the Yorktown community about a town administrator. Our concern is what is the best organizational structure for Yorktown's government and in no way is meant to be a reflection on past or current elected officials.

Many of our members have lived in Yorktown for 30-50+ years, have been actively involved in a wide range of community activities, and have seen many different supervisors and town boards come and go.

The committee plans to sponsor community-wide forums and debates on the issue of town administrator as well as meet with small groups of residents to explain how a town administrator would function. The committee believes that the decision whether or not to have a town administrator should be up to the voters.

Members of the Committee include:
Aaron Bock
Tricy Cushner
Jared Feinberg
Sharon and David Frayne
Gerald Knapp
Patricia Podolak
Susan Siegel (committee coordinator)
